The intention of the festival is to encourage and promote human serenity, joy and laughter, as an important factor in the situation of the human spirit. This way we promote one of the human qualities, which in this age of hustle and difficulty of living is very important, but often neglected.

FIFES will present the films in 3 competitive categories:

1) Authors up to 12y.

2) Authors from 13y. to 17y.

3) Authors from 18y.

Genres are: animated, documentary, fiction and other.

If the movie is not in Croatian, English subtitle is required. If movie is in English, please include dialogue list.

In the competition, can participate movies completed after January 1, 2011.

In the competition, can be movies that haven't been on 2. FIFES and been completed after January 1, 2011.

Max. duration of the author movie is 15 minutes.

Films that promote racism, or any other form of intolerance or pornography shall not be included in the selection committee.
