Ischia Film Festival is born with the aim of conferring an artistic award to the works, the photography directors and the set designers who have increased the value of Italian or foreign locations and represented their human, historical and social reality and thus promoting the culture, the traditions and the beauties, inspiring the audience to visit them and experience directly the emotions received.
The Festival is open to Italian and international Feature Films, Documentaries and Short Films, screened to the public for the first time in 2015 or 2016. All the screenings gave special importance to the location or to the cultural identity of the territory where the film was shot .
Foreign films must be subtitled in Italian or English by the participants. This can be done also after the selection according to the audience of the screening.
The works can be both unpublished and published, but necessarily presented to the audience after 1st January 2015.
