EcoZine aims to promote, exhibit and reward audiovisual works of fiction, animation, experimental and documentary films, focused on environmental issues, produced anywhere in the world, as well as to promote parallel actions and activities related to this theme.

Environment is understood as all aspects related to climate change, water resources and their management, sustainable development and change, human rights and gender relations in relation to the environment, North-South relations and socio-economic imbalances and other human activities with detrimental effects on the natural environment.

Films must have been produced after 1 July 2023.

Entries for the competition section will be made in the following sections:

- Short films up to 25 minutes (documentary, fiction and animation).

- Feature films, over 45 minutes (documentary).
